The mobile art statements will be placed at the Quai Rambaudin in Lyon during the professional and opening dates on from 13 to 15 September.

MOVE FOR LIFE is an art intervention in public spaces. It’s field of action are squares, streets and factory halls, abandoning the the traditional art spaces, museums, galleries and exhibition halls.  It reach people where they live and work.

MOVE FOR LIFE is art in movement. An artistic socio political call to action on the move.

Trucks are suited as carriers of the messages of MOVEFOR LIFE. Each truck makes 250,000 km per year through the roads of Europe, according with the transport associations. 25 million people sees each truck in that period.

MOVE FOR LIFE uses the gigantic sides of the truck to allow the artists to make their Monumental Art Statements against poverty, violence, aids, racism and environmental destruction.

The trailers become the cultural, the art object on wheels.

The works are designed by internationally renowned artists. Trucks with images by Robert Rauschenberg, Jochen Gerz, Atelier Van Lieshout, Daniele Buetti, Ben Vautier, Isabel Muñoz, Mark Titchner, Damien Deroubaix, Franz Burkhardt and Xia Zheng are on the road since 2006.
