There’s not much left of the barn, the wooden wall, or the roof truss. A motley assortment of boards, painted and gone gray over the years, the rubble of a wooden structure, is now heaped in a container. Used, spent, unusable, and ready for removal. Is art now trying to pillory our material consumption? Is it suggesting that the patina of aging roof battens makes for a modern-day painting?

Short-term vacant properties and spaces are to become temporary showcases for various cultural themes and projects, thus taking them out into the entire city.
