Over the past weeks, Niggi Kinzel has shared insights into his collection and the fascinating world of Jean Cocteau during numerous personal guided tours. With his stories and wealth of knowledge, he brought the artist and his works closer to visitors.
Shortly before the exhibition came to an end, there was another special musical moment: Adam Taubitz and Christer Løvold gave a small concert right in the exhibition space. An excerpt from the concert can be seen in the second video, while the first offers another glimpse of the Kinzel-Schilling Collection.
A heartfelt thank you to Niggi Kinzel for his dedication, the many memorable encounters, and the generosity with which he shared his collection and knowledge with us and our guests.
The exhibition Jean Cocteau – Drawings was on view at FOR ART in Basel from 18 September to 7 November 2026. The works then returned to Niggi Kinzel’s private spaces.
